Pay and Play Golf Course in Kent – Homelands Golf Course Ashford, Kent
Originally designed in 1994 by Donald Steel ( winner of 2 American golf course renovation awards), Homelands is a traditional 9 hole parkland golf course set in the tranquil Kent countryside. Our greens are built to USGA specification and maintained to a high standard throughout the year. With 18 tees, the course offers a different challenge for the second 9 holes.
The Homelands course was renovated in 2007/2008 by Mass Designs with the new layout being opened in May 2009 by European Tour Pro Benn Barham. This created a new 1st hole “The Magnet” and extended the 9th/18th into a challenging, uphill 518 yard par 5 “Purgatory“. We have also added many other new features, with new bunkers and water hazards strategically positioned around the course. See the course hole by hole here.
Renovations and Improvements
Our bunkers have been renovated and filled with fresh sand, some of which have changed shape and been extended. We have also constructed a high quality green for our short game area. We are always looking at ways to enhance or beautiful course. It is maintained to a high standard throughout the year by our Head Green keeper Sam Burton and his team.
At the moment I think the course is at the highest standard it has ever been.

Pay and Play Tee Booking is not essential, but advisable. We will always do our best to give you the tee time you require. Green fees need to be paid in full before you go out and play, just come into the clubhouse and pay at the counter with cash or cards, there you can hire clubs, trolleys, buggies and anything else you might need for your game.
Check out our Hole By Hole section to see images and playing tips from the pro’s for each hole.
